Kristin McLaughlan (Gomez), currently resided in California, began dancing at the age of 3 in Toronto. Her strong passion for the performing arts and choreography has led her to have a successful career in the entertainment industry. Trained in all forms of dance, Kristin has traveled around Canada and The United States training with many of the industry’s top choreographers.
As a professional, Kristin has performed and choreographed in various shows and fundraisers such as The Bazaar, Dance of Offerings, Women in Dance, Choreographers Ball, The Bell Celebrity Gala, Deloitte’s Holiday Party, and was a finalist in the top 100 on Canada’s So You Think You Can Dance. In California, she is a choreographer for Alumni Dance Collective and Thrive Dance Company. Kristin has also had the opportunity to work with numerous artists such as Shawn Desman, Down with Webster, Eva Avila, Natasha Bedingfield, Shiloh, and Carly Rae Jepson. Recently, she had the privilege of working with Playtex in some of their dance inspired advertisements and contests.
Kristin is constantly improving and taking her dance skills to the next level. She is an award winning choreographer and works with various dance studios around Canada and the US. Most recently, Kristin had 3 students in the “Top 10” for Best Dancer at the Dance Awards in Las Vegas and one student landed a starring role on the hit TV series “The Next Step” and “Make it Pop”. Kristin is known to be a spirited and inspiring teacher, sharing her knowledge, passion and love for dance with all of her students.
